About

Sally Richards BSc (Hons) LHCEA RSHOM

Hi, I'm Sally Richards and I am a Homeopath, based near Norwich and Wymondham, in South Norfolk. I practice from my clinic at my home in Forncett St Peter, three miles West of Long Stratton.

I discovered homeopathy through my two youngest children. They had severe, chronic breathing difficulties and they weren't getting any better. My brother-in-law recommended a local homeopath and I asked my GP what she thought about the suggestion. She reassured me that whilst homeopathy may help my boys, it wouldn’t make them any worse. So I spoke to the homeopath and took my children along to see her. We were astonished and relieved at how effective it was for them.

I took a couple of first aid courses in homeopathy and we began to use it at home as a first port of call in many first aid and acute illness situations, and I became fascinated! I went on to study for four years at the Homeopathic College of East Anglia, fitting my studies around my four young children until I graduated in 2010.

For over 200 years, homeopathy has supported people with their health, well-being and happiness. It is natural, safe, gentle and effective, and it is used by millions of people across the world as their primary health care. Homeopathy can be used in an integrated, informed approach alongside conventional medicine, promoting holistic care.

I'm self-employed and patients come to my home clinic as well as using virtual appointments. I do prefer to see patients in person at least once; an opportunity for us to meet each other. A homeopathic appointment is a confidential, safe, space. I take the time to listen in a non-judgemental manner to my patients and how they are experiencing their ill-health. Illness often has an underlying weakness, so knowing the details of your personal health history as well as your ill-health at present, and how your symptoms feel to you, can really help with finding the right remedy for you.

My patients are of all ages and genders and come with a great variety of different problems, but particularly, those which the NHS has found it difficult to help with. I've seen an increase in young people needing support with mental and emotional symptoms and those of all ages struggling to regain their health after a viral illness. Every personal story is unique and I find it incredibly rewarding to make a positive difference in someone’s life through homeopathy.

I am a member of the Society of Homeopaths; the largest group of registered professional homeopaths in the UK, and as such, I follow their Code of Ethics and Professional Standards. I love being a Homeopath, I find it stimulating and challenging and I am always learning about this fascinating system of healthcare. I love that you can find so many different situations where homeopathy can help.
